Influenza (or "flu") is a contagious respiratory illness that can lead to symptoms such as body aches, sore throat, and nasal congestion. Other common signs and symptoms of the flu include:
Fever over 100.4 F (38 C)
Chills and sweats
Headache
Dry, persistent cough
